Community Journalist & Photographer

Charlotte Martin took a bold leap into Community Journalism in her thirties, aligning her professional path with her lifelong passions for photography and storytelling. She embraced this vibrant new chapter with full force - traversing the landscapes of Eyre Peninsula to document the region's news, events and community heartbeats.

In her three years in the industry, she has completed her Community Journalism Studies while working at the Port Lincoln Times and Eyre Peninsula Advocate newspapers. In 2025 she completed her Digital News Academy studies in the final year of her cadetship. 

Charlotte's passions lay with special publications, including the Eyre Magazine and Eyre Home and Lifestyle Magazine. This year, Charlotte was awarded the role of Editorial Project Manager for Special Publications.
